Privacy Policy
Cedar Lane Home is a static editorial site. It does not run user accounts, advertising networks, or server-side analytics, and it keeps the handling of information deliberately small.
Information we do not collect
We do not operate tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. The site does not require you to register or sign in.
The contact form
The note form on the home page runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the page simulates a confirmation locally and clears the fields; it does not transmit your name, email, phone number, or message to a server, and nothing you type into it is stored by this site. If you wish to reach us, please email editor@cedarlanehome.org directly.
Cookie preference
A short notice may appear once on the home page asking you to accept or reject cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage as a single preference so the notice does not reappear. This value stays on your device and is not sent anywhere. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
External links and images
Pages link to third-party references and load photographs hosted on Wikimedia Commons. Those external services have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover. When you follow a link or load an external image, the corresponding service may receive standard request information such as your IP address.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date below will change with it.
